Long Course
The Course is made up of a 5km run on majority of fire Track this is a one loop run.
Enter transition at end of run and place helmet on head before removing bike from the rack and run or walk your bike out of transition to begin a cross country mountain bike ride. This ride consists of 80% single track and 20% Fire track.
This is a two lap course
The second run is the same as the short course loop and you leave in the same direction as the first run, but take a shorter loop. Again only one loop for the run which is 2km this time around.

Short Course
The Course is made up of 2km run on Majority Fire Track it is a one loop run
Enter Transition at end of Run and place helmet on head before removing bike from the rack and run or walk your bike out of transition to begin a cross country mountain bike ride. This ride consists of 80% single track and 20% Fire track.
This is a one lap course
The Second Run is the Same as the first (2km) one lap

Pocket Rocket
The Course is made up of 2km run on Majority Fire Track it is a one loop run

The Ride Course will Break Away from the other Riders as it is a half Lap and Takes a large short Cut it Will be Signed Pocket Rocket and have an Arrow
This is a one lap course
Then Followed by a 500m
Run up and back the Fire Track, you will still leave transition from the Top of
Transition.
Expected Winning Time 35 minutes
Take North East Road till you reach Gorge Road then follow Gorge Road to Gumeracha then turn left to Forreston if you go past the rocking horse you have gone about 400m too far. You then follow this road right to a T inter section ( Approx 15km) take a left then a right about 100m towards Mt Pleasant then about 4km down this road you came to the forest entrance on your left.
a Cyclist must have a helmet on and fastened before removing bike from the racks in transition. Also Drafting is Not illegal in this event as passing on a single track is hard enough.
A Cyclist in Front has right of way when negotiating an obstacle however a person pushing their bike through any part of the course must give way to a person riding the course.
When riding and two arrows are next to each other pointing straight forward, the cyclist must pass between the arrows. Eg Bike
It is good racing to inform a
person that you want to pass on single track so they can let you in a safe
manner eg Passing on your right when you can
This is a non contact sport so pushing in the run or ride and tampering with some one elses bike during an event is not allowed.
Also no outside assistance is allowed except for water.
