Victor Harbor Training Weekend
The 2011 Victor Harbor Training Weekend is scheduled for Friday 21- Sunday 23 October 2011.
Friday 21st
6:30pm—SWIM—Encounter Lakes (Bartel Boulevard—Victor triathlon beach) - duration approx. 1 hour—don’t forget to bring your wetsuit if you have one.
8:00pm—DINNER—Nino’s—17 Albert Place.
Saturday 22nd
9:00am—RUN– Meet at Green’s House—30 Sturt St. We’ll run along the foreshore—varying speed and distance groups. Afterwards we’ll head out for coffee/morning tea/lunch—to be decided by majority vote on the day.
2:00pm—TRANSITION TRAINING—Encounter Lakes (Victor triathlon beach).
If the weather forecast is for deteriorating conditions in the afternoon the run and transition training may be swapped around.
6:30pm onwards —DINNER—Green’s House. BBQ—BYO meat & drinks (alcohol is OK for the over 18’s) and please bring either a salad or dessert to share.
Sunday 23rd
10:00am—RIDE– Meet at Green’s House, we’ll head out together and after awhile split into a couple of different speed/distance groups.
If we were unable to do the transition training Saturday due to bad weather then—(hoping the weather has improved) we’ll do it Sunday morning instead.
For those doing the Anaconda Adventure Race in December, bring your kayaks/skis for some practice as well.
