Meningie Half Ironman 30/10/05

The second Meningie Half  Ironman saw a bigger field of competitors than last year with several Victorians coming across to race as well. The water temp of 16 degrees made for a chilly start, and a strong wind on the bike course made for hard returns on the incoming legs.Scott raced well to place 2nd, with Shane Johnson placing fourth. Scott also won the Adam Johnson trophy for first South Australian over the line.

Trevor Skewes won his age group, while Lin Green, Dave Taylor and Sue Gerrie raced in two mixed teams.
